Pixar works its magic again in this entertaining (if lengthy) movie about a rookie race car and the lessons he learns in a small town. Everything in the movie is a car, from animals to insects. There are some really imaginative parts of this movie, but it really bogged down in the middle. It should have been about half an hour shorter. I think this is Pixar's second-worst effort so far, above A Bug's Life. But that still puts it well above most movies made today. Cars is a fun, visually-impressive film.
