This movie was a colossal waste of time, talent, and money. Martin Scorsese directs an amazing cast in a film about the eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The cinematography was fabulous and there were some great performances, but the movie just didn't work. Rather than a sweeping drama it was just a bunch of unrelated sequences tacked together without any continuity. The Aviator was interesting at times, but it could have achieved so much more.
